The Planetary Science & Astronomy Minor
The Planetary Science and Astronomy minor requires a total of 19 credits, including 6 credits at the 400 level. All of the required courses are ASTRO, although the higher level courses do have a few prerequisites that need to be taken, in addition.
- 3 credits from ASTRO 1, 5, 6, 10+11, or 291 (Prereq: PHYS 211)
- 9 credits from ASTRO 120 (Prereq: ASTRO 1, 6, or 10), 130 (Prereq: ASTRO 1 or 10), 140 (Prereq: ASTRO 1, 5, or 10), or 292 (Prereq: ASTRO 291)
- ASTRO 401 (Prereq: ASTRO 1, 5, 6, or 10 and MATH 140), and 402W (Prereq: ASTRO 1, 5, 6, 10+11, or 291 and MATH 140)
- A grade of C or better is required for all courses in the minor.
